Default How HOT? turbo mani/exhaust mani

Hey guys, i know that exhaust gas temps are in the 1200 degreez range & what not but how hot do you think the outside portion of the manifolds get.. ?

I'm not sure exactly, but I've seen dyno vids where the manifold turned bright red. :eek3:

Well, assuming the metal absorbs some of that heat, probably not a far cry from 1200 degrees.

lol are you hoping to use some high temp paint or something? On my set up my egts dont go higher then 1200 so id imagine the turbo and manifold are sitting right around there.
Ive got a nice scar on my arm from my damn manifold, burnt me through a sweatshirt
