Does anyone know about those so called performance chips on EBay, they go around $30??

Didn't answer question, maybe I'll be more specific. They say it advances the timing, air, and fuel. it plugs into your air sensor.

 

air sensor? do you have a link to the item? if your talking about this...then no...i wouldnt put that on my vehicle http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda...34694482QQrdZ1 specially when they say it would cost 1500 or more for a performance chip...they also claim it will not effect most warranties....yeah right... lol go ahead and buy it and then tell us how it works out for you

 

Ya that's what I'm talking about, well do you know were to find a chip for a 98 civic dx, its already turbo, and a lot of other upgrades, I just need a chip but I really don't want to pay one for $200. Most of my parts i got form friends for cheap so ya anybody know where to find a decent chip for my car that would be cool!! Thanks!!!

 

thats just a fancy resistor mod that people used to sell. save your money and put gas in your car. the only good "chip" for engine management is hondata, uberdata or crome.
