Default civic LSI low power

hi, i have a civic 1994 1.5 LS1 EG SOHC non vtec. the car seems very slugish and picks up speed slowly. i have seen other 1.5 LSI pick up speed quickly even tho its 90bhp. is there anything i need to clean or adjsut to get it to pick up speed faster and also after 80mph the car speed gets stuck there and doesent move. i have a decat, 421 manifold, backbox, induction kit. i have serviced the car just 3 weeks ago changed oil, plugs, leads, filter etc and cleaned with carb cleaner but still the same any sugestions thanks.

sounds like your brakes are sticking or stuck.

iscould there be any other problem please as the brakes dont seem to be touching the disc too much. is it possible that if the decat pipe or manifold is not connected properly to the exhaust if air gets out then this could cause low power. thanks

if it drops speed suddenly when you let off the gas it has to be something other than the engine, unless your comp. ratio is 10to1 or more. did you check you tire psi? my lude was doing the same thing, turns out some retard tore the dust seal on the caliper puck during the last brake job and the cylinder rusted out..which caused the caliper to stick. is your ebrake hanging up?

My friend's 03 corolla did the same thing. I believe it was cuz the car was tripping the CEL. Is your ecu throwing codes?
