Default HELP!! How do you....

Hey, everyone! I'm new at this site and I'm seeking help. I'm not sure if this is where I post "how to's" but here it is. I've recently bought a 92 Hatchback DX with the passenger window, rear window, and rear left window all broken. I have the glass to replace each window but not sure how to do it exactly. I don't know what's needed and how to do it. I've tried searching this site for anything similiar to it but to no avail. If anyone have a link to pictures on how to do it with what's needed that'd be great. I thank you all in advance.

don't even bother trying to do it yourself... i'v been installing glass professionally for 3+ years, and i'm certified by the national glass association.

there are to many legalities for someone to install autoglass on their own.

people go to jail for life for installing glass improperly. take it to a professional. you don't want to be driving down a freeway somewhere and have your glass fly out.

The poeple that go to jail, are they pros or are you saying DIY installers who own the vehicle and do their own glass work can be jailed for negligence? Just curious?

I think his point says it all. The owner of the vehicle is liable for causing damage, injury or death to another motorist or pedestrian, from parts of his or her vehicle flying off and ultiamately killing someone. Unfortunately the laws of the US can accomodate the owner to pass on liability to the installer.

exactly my point. and nevertheless if you install it now and keep the car until it's completely undrivable ever again, or if you sell it. the next owner or yourself will have to deal with that problem. if you sell, and there is a problem with the glass later, it will all be dropped on your lap.

just be careful where you go to ge the work done. there are so many safety regs with glass, and alot of people shortcut. do your research.
