they are smaller and therefore lighter. THey also make your accesories turn slower and therefore have less output.
They are not worth it IMO and you need the factory pully's harmonic balancer to help reduce crank vibrations

They do free up horsepower by being lighter... but I think I've gotten more torque out of them if anything. I have the Unorthodox Race underdrive pulley. One will give you atleast 4whp. But you can gain more just removing p/s and the a/c.

for the amount of money and time you spend putting them on just seems way too much for 4 measily hp. they will give you a little power at the expense of longevity. esp. if you do the one on the crank youll be sorry later.

I'm on the border with pulleys. I have the AEMs on my 00 Civic Si. Didn't really notice any power increase, but my headlights dim at every stop light, which is annoying
