Default Quick Question

im using a fluidyne radiator, fal fan, spoon thermostat, and fan switch on my b16. well it heats up normally but if i turn my heater on it drops the temp a little is there something wrong or is this natural?

yup it draws the heat away from the engine and accctually the best thing to do when ur car is going to overheat is to roll down the windows and turn the heater up all the way.

The heater core is just a small radiator inside the cabin, keep that in mind.

If you want to warm up faster, start the car with the controls set to full cold. This keeps the heater valve fully closed and keeps the coolant from circulating through the heater core, so when you change over to full "hot" you get the warm air instantly... this will give you warm air two to three minutes faster then leaving it on "hot" from start-up.
