This forum got off topic... what's more likely 2 succeed on a 1/8... turbo or blower?

yeah we tend to do that h:

for the 1/8th mile if that is your only goal then I would do a blower...but I still would stay away from that JRSC

personally in the 1/8th i would think a small turbo would be better than a supercharger.

a supercharger on fwd = traction problems. (more so than a turbo anyways)

the only time i could see possibly going the supercharger route on a honda would be autocross, but even then i think a small turbo might be better. to each his own though, thats what makes everyones cars unique -- everyone has different needs and driving styles.

I thought that too before I started racing the 1/8th at another local track...
I play catch-up to most of the rwd cars but pass them by the finnish line.....
Like it was mentioned before, it's all in the launch.....
I have to have a good launch at the 1/8th mile track, but the 1/4 mile track isn't as important because if I have a bad launch I can usually catch the other car before the finnish line....
