Default Coilovers?

i want to buy a full coilover setup for my civic instead of just .. springs or adjustable springs..

i was looking at the ones omni makes.. there fairly cheap.. has anyone had any experiance with these?

http://www.kteller.com/store/product...6a8a15d1fc018b

if i shouldnt go with those.. what a good full coilover in the 700-800 range

thanks

I was looking for a sponsorship from OMNI since I heard lots of good things from them. Right now I'm running with Koni Yellows and Ground Control coilovers which came out to $900 shipped.

I would be very very warry of Omni, while the products seem to be good, they have had several quality control issues with shocks, camber kits and clutch master cylnders in certain batchs, who knows if they have been corrected and when they will pop up again, they are cheap for a reason.

I've got a set of omni's on my civic hatch and they are great, its like riding on rails. They improved the handling of my ride 100 fold. Beside that, unlike some setups they dont beat the crap out of you when your driving on the streets. If you do get them i recomend that you get the coils+lcas and camber kit package from password, its a good product for a damn good price.

For that price range, you can go with Omni or TEIN Basic

I'm lookin at puttin a set of coilovers on my '98 EX coupe as well. Unfortunately I'm on a bit of a tighter budget(check Low Budget Enthusiast thread, thats me) of around $500. Should I just grin, bear it, and save for a Tein setup? or is there a quality setup for around that price. gotta love bein able to ask these questions without someone tryin to sell you into somethin 3x more than you can afford

i only have one complaint about my omni.. the rear set seems to rattle when u hit multiple bumps... another thread in here claims its the lack of cushion btwn the coilover and the frame.. like a rubber bushing..
otherwise.. they're a great step up from reg. sleeved coilover. i had the skunk/agx prior to these. its a good investment
