Suspension
Hi,
I live in montreal and the roads here suck, but what concerns me more is how my car THUMPS (REALLY LOUD) and then, if the pot-hole's big enough, my abs will take off like if i were slipping on ice. Is this a sign of bad suspension.
If it is, i would like to get this replaced. What parts do i need when replacing a suspension (looking aftermarket parts, forget getting stocks)
Can you please inform me of all the part i need, what the best brands are for the offered price, what the prices are, and how do i know if my mechanic is ripping me off. If i were to give myself a grade on 10 of how much i know about cars, i would 3-4/10, so how hard would it be do it myself?
thanks in advance
My car is an Acura 1.6EL, 1998

PATIENCE! Someone with the knowledge will be along to help you. People don't live on HAN 24/7. It's also the weekend so just chill.

i wouldnt suggest going into doing something like this blind. search for write-ups and how-to's so you get a better idea of what needs to be done. if you know what your doing, it shouldnt be that hard.
