Default Car Jerks Hard Before i GoTo Shift to 2nd

my can when i was on my way home i went to shift to 5th gear and when i did i was driving it and started to jerk so i shifted to 4th and i parked it, then about 5 mins ago i jsut tryed to drive it to see if it was still messed up.i got in it and when i was taking off it would just jerk back before i would reach 30 mph, then i i tryed to shift to 2nd and it did then it would go then about 35-40 it would jerk again when i was driving. like if u would downshift..

i did a code i got ...short short short short short short Pause short short short short short short short Pause Long Pause

the motor surges it acts like ur reving it but ur not reving it.

the surging in usually some type of vacuum leak.

do u nowhat certain vaccum to look for?

your main vacuum line is on the drivers side fire wall and the others are comming off your intake manifold. one goes to the fuel rail and then the others go to everything else that reqires vacum pressure. so just check all those lines out and see if they are cracked or lose on the fittings if they are replace them or put some compression clamps on it.
