Default Remove Factory Indash CD player

Alright, i tried searching the forums and I really couldn't find anything to help me. If you find a helpful thread please point it out to me.

But anyways, I have a 2005 civic ex [sedan] and i just bought a pioneer deh-7700 mp and i want to install it. but i cant figure out how to get the factory cd player out. I've searched online and it'd be nice to self-install to save me a few bucks. Of course, if it gets too confusing, i might save myself the trouble and the possibility of further damage by taking it in anyways.

Any help?

To take out the panel to replace the HU is a HUGE pain in the ass. I had my cousin's shop do my gf's 04 and they had some issues.
#1 There are two small screws to take out (easy)
#2 They had to remove the two vents (so they had something to grip)
#3 PULLED really hard to get that thing out. There are like 12 clips holding that panel in. I know if I did it, I probabley would've broke something. IMO have someone else do it so if they break it, they'll have to fix it.

Yeah, pay someone else to do it and if they break it, they will buy you another one.

EKgsr, you're describing how to remove the radio in an EK. He wants to know for an 05.
