I'm bored, so let's imagine if we can have $8,000 to mod our ride.

B18b, internals, boost, hoosiers, lsd, clutch, flywheel, axles.

sell my car, use that $$ + the $8k and put down for a G35

I would invest it in something that would return something. You will never get that 8k back if you invest it into modding a car.
