Quick Brake Swap Question
I have a 99 ex and i have been having problems with the drum brakes so i'm looking to swap them for the 99 si discs. It all seems very strait forward, but i'm usure if i can use the e-brake cables from the ex on the si brakes. Also if any one has any tips or things that i should look out for before starting i'd love to hear it. Thanks in advance.

safety???? hmmm interesting. alignments are overrated. get an alignment whenver you adjust ride height or mess with factory adjustments. outer/inner tie-rods...struts (not on honda vehicles) or in this case....rear control arms. im an alignment tech and have been one for five years.
youre a tech? really? and you dont think that theyre for safety reasons... talk about interesting.
I kept my bolts in near identical places, when I did mine, and my rears would slip easy just on the way to the shop

what you must tow your vehicle to an alignment shop after dropping it? what about thast pothole? after you hit it you must tow your car again? i can pull 80 percent of all the cars in the world (even new ones) on the alignment rack and i gaurantee that they will be out of alignment. they just want your money....and an extra 60 bucks, pure labor, i might add is very indulging for shops. meaning they will sell whatever they can. justins question is answered thanks.
lol....what are you doing driving your "unsafe" car on the road to the shop
