Civic EK type r lip/splitter

i have a front lip/splitter for an Ek civic. will this fit 96-98 civic and 99-00 or only one of them . i herd that one was a facelift model or sumthing and it wont fit. any ideas?

it will only fit one of them ususally, although some fit both.
