Default Fuel Pump Problems

Ok my 92 civic dx, the fuel pump will work,then it will stop, if i mess with the wires it will work a couple times, i was wondering if you think its anelectrical problem,or if ishould go ahead and replace it? idont want to replace it if there is something electrical wrong..if possible could you give me a diagram,to where the wires go to in the car?or what i could do? anyhelp would be great..thankyou

if you mess with the wires and it works its obviously electrical.
if you want to test for sure just hook up 12v+ to the lead wire of the fuel pump directly instead of through the main relay, and then ground it out and see if it stays on permanently
