Yes, b16 or itr are going to be the fastest.
(gsr and ls have the same 1st and 2nd gears)
The only reason that people says that gsr is best, is because of traction issues that arise...this can be solved with an lsd or just stickier tires. The mix of long and short help people get going with long gearing and then accelerate faster later, when the car is already moving.

I went through alot of pm's with TheOtherDave and Das Schmoo and alot of other integra savy people. I want to keep my daily driving abilitys and not be real high in rpm's while at 70-80 on the highway. So i went for a gsr trans.
Dont worry, cant you see i already removed the sideskirts for the OEM ones, the front bumper, fenders, hood and front lights will never see this car again. Only the 99-00 front end. And im working on the rear tails.
Like I said above it is getting repainted. I love hatchbacks, and this was the only one i found local and cheap so i bought it. Its doing a full 180 now though from rice to nice hopefully.
I have yet to fire it up. Wish me luck friday hopefully it will be moveable.

true. After i get this up and running ill see how it is. It will be another good 2-3 months until its turbo.
Anyone know a good way to get the rest of the stickers off? I got the big black ones off with a hairdryer and goo gone. But those queer chrome ones just rip even with heat
And while im at it, just reccomend the stock 96-98 tails, or is there a difference in the 99-00?

Fired it up yesterday
. Took me about a hr to realize why i didnt have fuel pressure, i forgot to hook up the green plug near the ECU
h:. Im still having problems with my clutch. i have yet to drive the car. Only fired it up for 15seconds because i have no exhaust, its right off the header and thats it. Plus i have a CEL on because of no 02 sensors, and another plug i need to swap over. Im just glad it starts. But my clutch goes totally soft over night even after numerous times being bled...slave cylinder???
And the trans story, i was real glad to get the tranny for $995. about 3 months ago i called about a trans on saturday, said i would be up there on monday and they told me they would hold it. So i drove the 2 hrs to get it to find they sold it on me sat night. Then they said another would be in in 3 weeks, well 3 months later still nothing. So i won a trans off ebay for $600, paied the guy a MO then a week later he replies that he is sending the money order back because the trans was "stolen"
. After that i said screw it and found the closest and cheapest gsr trans i could for $995. Im happy.
Just got back from getting lost driving everywhich-way in Nj getting some fenders.
I have 99-00 hood, fenders, and bumper on. Im still doing body work so ill get new pics tomorrow. Still need SI grill, headlights, and lip and a CTR duckbill and body is done. Motor needs 2 torque mounts, 1 plug changed...and the rest of the exhaust.
Im really happy with it. It will be on the ground tomorrow as im finishing applying some bondo and sanding the fenders and bumper smooth so ill take pics.
I got both fenders for $60 and the frt bumper for $60 as well...not too shabby if you ask me.
