i have a hatch and my locks keep gettin worse and worse
when i go to unlock my doors from the outside it's like i have to fight it to turn i have to jiggle it around... its like this on both sides


inside the car the drivers door lock seems as if its not connected to anything and i have to lock the car from the outside the passenger works fine from the inside


does anyone know whats causing this... and where can i get new ones if thats what i need? NO its not the cold making them hard to open because they have been like this for sometime now

 

You could try taking the handle off (if you can't get to the parts with it attached) and lubing the cylinders with some graphite grease and lube all of the moving parts to the linkages and rods. I'm not sure if the cylinders are available seperately from the dealer, that would be another choice.

i took the door apart... and found that the peice that connects from the lock to the inside the door lock is gone.
