did a swap and car won't start
I just swapped a d15vtec into a 93 dx. I used the the same stock harness and didn't hook up the vtec, well not til spring. When I finally cranked it over the engine turned over for a few seconds then saw some sparks flying out by the starter. Then tried starting it again and getting nothing. Is it just the starter? forgot to mention I had the battery hooked up to a charger and in start mode. did it have too much voltage? Need some info please, been dreamin' bout driven her again. Thanks
the positive wire from your starter either slipped off the pring or your grounding wire is touching the positive, look at the angle it's connected & make sure the positive isn't grounding against the starter casing.
i doubt you fried the starter, they can take quite a bit of electrical abuse (from past experience)
