Default Headlight replacement on a 93 Del Sol

Hey all,

My brother has a 93 Del Sol and one of his headlights is burned out. He's not sure how to replace it, so I've decided to come here to ask. Can someone please give us some hints on how to do it? He thinks he has to just "pull it out" but he's not certain. TIA.

If it's exactly like the regular Civic (which I'm sure it is), It IS the pull out type. You just pull the boot off of the back of the headlight and twist the metal piece around that gives tension to keep the light in place. The plug is pretty easy to disconnect. I'm not sure if you have to, but I'd disconnect the battery just in case. It's certainly NOT the (replace the whole unit scenario. If you get lost along the way, just use the good light as a reference on how to put it back on. There used to be a rule of replacing both at the same time, but I don't know if it's just an Urban legend.
