i was jus wondering if the 96-98 civic coupe doors fit on the hatchbacks??

let meeh kno cuz im doing a power window/door lock conversion for my car since i have manual ones....

 

In terms of hinges etc they'll fit fine......however i'm pretty sure they are alot longer to suit the coupes shape, so no they wont.

Which is why side trim is sold in 2/3dr and 4dr sets

people that want to convert to power windows/locks sometimes just swap doors too...what youre doing

 

I am 99% sure that the coupe and hatch doors are the same.

 

so they should fit perfectly and how about all the wiring and shit for the door locks and windows?? should i jus get it done at a dealership or get like a local shop to do it or can i do it myself?

yea i have manual door locks/windows and no i dont have any wiring now...im tryna get some coupe doors frum some guy and its the whole complete door...with motor, windows, & switches

 

I'm actually in the middle of doing all of that on a 92 Civic Power everything on the doors from a car that had only power mirrors. A friend of mine pulled the harness off of the car they came from. I think you need a bunch of under the dash wiring. I'd use the stock wiring if I were you.

 

okae ic...wut u do u mean under the dash wiring?? should i get the wiring frum the guy also?? cuz like i said its the complete door w/ the motor, windows, switches, door panels and how much werk is dere to dis??

 

Hmm. Here's my story, I got a set of EX coupe doors from the yard. Spotless. The guy I know went under the dash and the hood to grab the wiring harness from inside the car I got them from. He's gonna help with it this weekend. I'm not sure what the protocol is, but there's more to it than just lining up the doors. It's just not as plug and play as I thought it would be. The amount of work is relative to whether or not you've done it. I'll be able to tell you more when I'm done. I'll try to take some pics.
