very expensive...very time consuming...heavy fabrication....not worth the time or effort.

It's a huge pain in the ass. It's not cheap by all means, but easier just to get a JDM front clip and put that on there. lol

Ya if its done right thats the way to do it. You need the whole front clip so you can get the firewall and swap that out...

what everyone else said.... its expensive and a BIG PAIN IN THE ASS....

but as for swapping out the whole fire wall u dont really need to... this shop in phoenix AZ does RHD conver. all the time... what they basically do is cut out the neccessary holes on the current firewall on the car to match the JDM firewall and then weld shut the old ones... but im sure its more in depth than that but thats what they basically told me when i ask lol

If you do it, your car will triple in resale value. Sad but true.

From what I've read, Civics are much more of a pain to convert then some other cars. I don't think the firewall of a Civic is symetrical, like RX-7's (and 240SX's, IIRC.) If the firewall isn't the same for US and Japanese cars, you're in for some trouble.

If this car is supposed to be your daily driver, forget about it.

Some people who have converted their cars to RHD have had their car totaled by the insurance company and given a salvage title. We live in America and we drive LHD cars, if you want a RHD Car, move to somewhere where you can buy them off the showroom floor.

It would only triple the re-sale value if you find the right sucker to by it, I would not pay any more for a RHD version of a any LHD version car I could buy.

How, and why?

I've seen three or four EG's sell for over 6k thanks to a RHD swap here in Virginia. Those where the only converted ones I've seen for sale.

I've seen the same happen with a couple S13's and an FC. Rich pricks love RHD.

I assume because they assune the amount of welding and fabricateing would be more than 80% of the value of the car.
