What's the possibility of hitting a mid 15 in an EX?
My mods are in my sig and I am going to install the AFPR soon. The clutch isn't doing too good so I was debating over a Fidanza flywheel too. My dad's camaro hit a 15.48 at 88mph and I want to prove a civic can run those numbers and be reliable and get great gas mileage. Would I need an aftermarket cam to hit this goal? And would it need a custom chip or just timing and FPR adjustment, on 87octane. The exhaust made a noticeable difference after the installation, I think I may be able to touch the high high 15's right now in good air. :p

see sig...its not too hard.

get that AFPR installed and tunned... and you should be set for high 15s.... on a good launch..
I suppose where u're located matters.. how fast do u run now? |
next time i hit the track i will hit the mid 15s

Some internal engine mods and work would help too, AFPR's and the like will only help if you can dyno tune your car, good luck to you!

Get some good tires. Maybe a z-10 traction bar.

Slicks, 13" rims, and gut that bastard for the day you run it and you'll be set.

I am at sea level but the humidity is rather high and it's in the mid to upper 90's right now. The first time I brought it to the track, I didn't have time to let it cool for long and it was near 100% humidity in the lower90's-upper80's and it hit a 16.457@82.33 with a 2.361 60foot W/91LB weight-reduction, Intake and UDP. That was with a 3000-3500rpm launch and a tad after 7000rpm shifts.

very very very high 15's but honestly probably more like very low 16's.....
|
Oh well we will see, at least I have retained getting 30mpg and the car is significantly faster than when I first got it. Next I'm going to start messing with the suspension so it stops handling like it wants to roll over when I take a turn over 15mph.
