I ran a 15.9 at 82mph with I/h/e and a centerforce clutch. With a good launch and some slick shifting you should be there. Im planning or hoping i should say for the lower half of the 15 range now

BTW to show how the conditions of the track weren't too good. My mother's car is a 99GTP and it had maybe an extra 50Lbs of junk at most and it ran a 15.4 @88.6mph with a 2.3 60foot. I didn't want to burn out for traction because it was her car but is a somewhat decent 60foot.

I AM GLAD THAT I SAW THIS POST. WHAT THE HELL IS THE DEAL WITH MY CAR. I HAVE A 96 EX WITH A 99 EX MOTOR WITH LESS THAN 40K MILES WITH AN AKIMOTO INTAKE, DC SPORTS 4-2-1 CERAMIC HEADER, AND TANABE RACING MEDALLION CAT BACK, AND TONIGHT I RAN A 17.0 TO 17.2 1320 AT 81-82 MPH ON A SET OF SLICKED OUT KUMHO'S SET AT 25 PSI. I KNOW A STOCK CIVIC IS SUPPOSED TO RUN ABOUT A 16.8. I HAVE AN AFPR SET TO ABOUT 32 PSI AT IDLE. AM I RUNNING TOO RICH AND IS THAT MAKING THAT MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE? ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED. OH, 60FT TIMES WERE HIGH 2.4s. I WAS EMBARRASED OUT THERE, BUT THEN AGAIN, IF I GOT THEM ON THE AUTOCROSS COURSE, I WOULD HAVE EATEN THEM UP, SO IT'S ALL GOOD IN THE END.

Sorry about the caps. I made an error typing in the psi, it is 38 at idle and 45 at w.o.t. (vacuum line removed). Let me know. Also isn't w.o.t. supposed to be 10 psi higher than idle? Could my fuel pump be going out? I have a pump from a 00 Si on standy if my pump is bad though.

45 is WAY high... you are BOGGING at wot just liek i was all motor.. i say honestly for your application that 38 - 40 with the line removed is MORE than enough fuel...

I was under the assumption that a higher psi just prevents the injectors from going dry, The injectors will only pump in what they are rated to.
