3 stage vtec, similar to a combination of vtec-e with the regular vtec I hear.

Must have been an engineering fluke or else honda would have used it in more than one vehicle IMO.

i was going to say VX engine, but i never saw one with 2 solenoids on it.

it has I-vtec, which is more like vtec-e. Plus it has a ton of other weird things

I-vtec is just like normal vtec, with one engage.

On the K series I think it just turns vtec on at 2200 rpm, and then the VTC is always working.

On the K series with dual vtec, the dual stands for "both camshafts" because most of them only have vtec on the intake camshaft
