99 civic si taillights from procarparts.com, has anyone bought these. do they look fake or reel in person?

 

From what I've seen, the white is more clear then the OEM opaque white turn signal. Either way it may not make a differenct to you if people can tell if it's OEM or not.

 

also how is fitment?

 

Well I've bought aftermarket tails and headlamps and had no problems with fitment. But if you ask someone else they may say fitment sucks or fogging occurs. I guess it all depends, but I don't think you really need to worry about fitment on tails. At worst, return them and tell them they don't fit. Or take troll Ebay for Si tails. They come up every now and again.

 

My cousin just bought the taillight from procarparts and yes they look like the factory 99-00 SI tail lights. The only problem with the lights is that you have to file down one hole on the left side of the trunk and reuse the stock wire harness. If you don't reuse the stock wire harness your signals will not work properly. Other than that it looks good.

99 and 00 Civic likes do not look alike, 00 Red and White, 99 Red, White, Yellow

 

Don't you mean that the 96-98 tails look different than the 99-00?
