Default 2006 civic si

hey just saw a show on speed channel on the 2006 civic si, I want to get one but was wondering if I wanted to add a body kit how should I have it equiped, is it better to get a stripped model with no exterior options and then add the body kit or do you need to get some of the factory installed options installed first, front spoiler, rear spoiler etc. thanks if anyone has any ideas

That car is really clean lookin off the line. If you must get a kit make sure it's very simple and clean. If i was you i would stick with the lip kits though. Very simple and clean.

simple and clean is the way to go. just put the factory lips. and with a bodykit, you're gonna have to worry about the paint chipping in the front, really not worth it. simple look is the best look

Definitely a sweet ride. I'm glad they brought back the 8000 r/min redline and center console mounted shift lever. Reminds me of my 2000 Si (stolen in Dec 2001 ). SAE changed the protocol for measuring torque and calculating power output, which is why they advertise it as 197 hp, instead of 200 hp.

I noticed the new Si (along with the other Civics) won 2006 Motor Trend Car of the Year and a "Gold Pick" award (highest possible rating) by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Way to go, Honda!:yay:
