CV joint that wont break?
Looking for a good source for some stage 1 axles for my 94 civic. I have a B18B with a JDM Type-R head, hondata, exhaust, intake, header... the whole bit. Need axles that can handle my regular "spirited" driving with ~170 WHP. I cant seem to find any decent used integra axles from the era, and have gone though enough cheap aftermarket axles to say enough... Suggestions? I am fairly new to tuning Hondas, and don't know what's the best for the money.
Ive broken 2 in as many months. If anything I have been holding back, so as not to break them. I say them, but it is actually just one of them that keeps breaking. Perhaps I have underestimated my horsepower too. I've said it a million times, I hate it when people exagerrate.
I figure go ahead and get some stage 1 axles, and not have to worry about them as I build up the power further. What could cause the CV's to fail so easily other than my driving, cause it is definitely not that.

I dont know much about civics (as i've only owned one for a week) but my 93 integra used to eat cv joints. The boots needed replacing at least twice a year, and everyone else in my area with 2nd gen integras had the same problem. That being said, I never came across any brand that was significantly better than another.
Looks like it was just a problem with a bad axle.
I wanted to have everything checked out by someone who knows better than I do. Apparenly it was just a bunk axle, and not some other problem with the suspension, (good news.) Now to try and get a refund on the 1 week old broken POS...
