Default magnetic spoon drain plugs????

have anyone used the magnetic oil drain plug from spoon or any other types of magnetic plugs before?

yeah...they give you 60+ HP.

Eh, they don't really seem to be that much of an improvement for your car, but if you have extra $ I'd say, hey why not?

it wouldnt hurt .. . cept maybe in your wallet if its tite

but if you've ever taken out the transmission pan thing to replace the fluid and filter and look at the magnet there (and all the metal shavings it caught, you'd probably consider stickin a magnet in your oil pan.

juss dont put spoon stickers on your car

im thinking of getting this b/c my car is still breakin in and i want to get all of the metal particles out of my car. atleast most of it anyways. im not getting it just b/c its spoon.

i thought the whole point was to create a better oil pan seal, but i see, it takes bull**** out of the engine, thats pretty cool...now im tempted.

Just curious, but couldn't you just do this to your existing oil drain plug?

you can create a temporary magnet by scraping it on a motor...but that dont last forever.

or you can stick a speaker magnet to your oil pan, but thats a lot of weight and pretty stupid, :rofl:

I've been considering those for a while. I think $60 gets you one for engine, and one for the tranny. I wonder why all cars don't come from the factory with these. Another product I've seen may be better, it's the magnet sleeve that goes around your oil filter.
Either way it will increase the life of the engine by keeping the metal particles from circulating.
