Ok...i am new wit this honda stuff...i got a 98 civic lx...any idea of wat kinda engine i have...i dont believe i have a vtec...it would have said so on the engine right?...all i know is 1.6...wats up wit that b-series stuff?...im just tryin to learn about it

You do not have the vtec motor unless it was swaped in, but that didnt come with the vtec motor. The b series motors are were its at..haha

tell me alittle more about this b-series stuff...where can i get my hands on 1 of them...crate engines or sumthin...or any ol junk yard will have them...any average prices?...do they come stock in hondas...i dont know nothing...dats all i wanna know

check out hmotorsonline.com they have decent average prices for B series stuff.

K series is the shit,

B series is old news, but still very potent for your average driver.

D series turbo is the best bang for your buck

ok bambbrose....i been there...it aint told me a thing...it doesnt tell me wat fits n my car or anything...thanks 4 da help...i will do somemore lookin on my own...

Your car can have any D series, any B series, any K series, and any H series.

The level of difficulty to put them in is the difference.

B series and D series will bolt in with the correct OEM mounts.

K and H are much more powerful, but they require more work to shoehorn into the engine bay.

Well i wanna know about the b and d series...honda parts are not in abundace where i live so i wanna know which 1...the b or d series would be the easiest to upgrade?...and the cheapest cause cause junk yards round here rarely have honda period...dat means i gotta buy everythin brand new...ohh forget it..i dont know wat i wanna know....
