Yeah, that will work too. Just depends on what you can get cheaper. I have seen 96-99 P72 ecus going for dirt cheap, so I suggested that instead.

That would also work, but $190 is very steep considering you can get an ECU that will plug right in for a fraction of that.

That would also work, but $190 is very steep considering you can get an ECU that will plug right in for a fraction of that.
The only reason I dont like the p72 ecu running the b16a head with p30 intake manifold is that it is still looking to run as if it has the GSR secondary butterflies. I used my buddies p72 on my b16a swap when I first got it and it ran like utter garbage.

A guy here in town did a gsr swap and was saying he wired it so that both butterflies opened at the same time... but if thats in the ecu how do you wire that up? Or was he just saying this to make it sound cool..haha

I know it wasn't chiped he said they wired it like that...
