shocks problem

Default shocks problem

i recently put ground control coilover on my 02 civic lx, the problem is everytime i hit a bump, even a small dip, i hear this loud noise (thug) then my body said i have to replace my shocks cause its torned, now i thinking of geting kyb gr-2. does anybody have some ideas or suggestions?

what shocks are on there now...how low.

then yes your shit is blown, stock shocks cant handle shit for a drop...and those kyb's you are looking at wont hold up much better...if you want that much of a drop I would look at a MINIMUM of kyb AGX's but better would be tokico illuminas or koni yellows.....also from the PM you sent me, it would be great if you could get us some pics to help you further

Did you cut your bumpstops when you installed the springs? If not, make sure you cut them when you replace your shocks.

I am happy with my Tokico Illuminas.

well, thanks guys, does anybody know a reasonable price for koni or tokico..? and whaat is the proper size of koni yellow, coz i saw this one on ebay
(2 front 8641 1416 FOR 50 mm STRUT HOUSING, & 2 rear 8041 1281) is this the right size for an 02' civic lx 2dr.?

There isnt a specific size, you need to find the ones that are right for your model and year. (Ex: 88-91, 92-95, 96-00, (01-02 i believe) )

it say this is for 01-02 civic, but when i check it on some other store, there was 2 size of koni yellow, this one has 50 mm strut housing and the other one has 53 mm strut housing..? which one is the right size?
