Default GSR In EG

Ok now i no this has been asked and answered plenty of times. But im pretty sure that evething form a 3rd gen integra will bolt up in a eg. Now my problem is wiring issues i have a CX hatch. it comes with a 1.5 liter POS now the main harness thats connected to the car. will that have to be modifed for the GSR engine harness to connect. or what im counfused I no that plenty of people have b16 and gsr swaps in there eg's now coudl you answer me and tell me what i should do. i have the OBD1 to OBD2 conversion harness so that woult be a problem. could you help thanks.

why the hell would you ever convert to obd2?

because im getting the motor for 1500 bucks and its out of a 97 GSR.

whats your point? so run it obd1

OBD is all in the ECU, injectors, dizzy....it isnt the motor.......If you wanna make life super easy, re-use your obd1 harness from the EG on the GSR motor.....sell your obd2 dizzy, injectors, ecu and buy obd1 equals...the price will offset so it doesnt cost anything....sell your conversion harness....OBD1 >>>> OBD2

get a obd 1 dizzy and some obd 1 sensors. get the gsr wiring harness and call it good.

you dont need "obd1 sensors" and you dont need the GSR wiring harness, you can use your stock harness.

If its modified yes you can but its easier to use the gsr harness. I said easier not cheaper. and yes you dont need the sensors i forgot that there the same but the dizzy is going to be needed to swap to obd1.

:thinking: wats so hard about adding a couple more wires to the stock CX harness? h:

and civci2scooby said everything i was going to state so yeah thats about it from me... i was wondering the exact same thing why u would want an OBD2 setup on a OBD1 car... h:

to make it OBD 1 do i just need to replace the Distributor Fuel injectors and. i cant think what else

To make it OBD1 plug it into the car. Boom, its OBD 1.


Send the money you saved on replacing distributor, etc to me.
