i seriously doubt that you could get above 7k on the lower cams without being like "come on.. come on!"
also is there a CEL? (check engine light)

Ok, just went and tested it.
Acceleration above 6K is horrible. It does drop, so therefore, i guess the higher cams aren't kicking in at all. I have no CEL's what-so-ever

ctr cams installed on swap. vtec worked great for about 3 months. then today, it engaged late that one time, then next time not at all. any suggestions on what to do. i just rechecked the vtec connectors/solenoid and it is very nice and clean.

i was planning on boosting within the next month or so. no other mods accept a new intake within the past 3 months. i don't think the injen intake would have anything to do with it.

well you should be throwing a cel maybe theres something wrong with the vtec pins moving into position or with the pins themselves... thats honestly the best idea i can come up with but i've never taken apart the system peice by peice or installed one. i just know the theoretical ideas behind it.
