Default Door Pin Problems

Hi,

I just got an alarm professionaly installed on my del sol, when they handed me the alarm they showed me on the lcd pager that it will always say the doors open until I get my door pin switch fixed. So has anyone had a similar problem? How hard a fix would this be?

P.s. The other doors pin switch works fine, the light comes on when that door opens, the light does not when the driver side is opened.

Thanks

It'll be a piece of cake. Just get a new switch (or a used one), and stick it in there.

You will probably need to go to a Honda dealer to get a new part. Otherwise check out the junkyard.

It will be the easiest thing that you will ever do. go to the honda dealership to pick up the part. it shouldn't be any more than like 20 bucks. there will be one screw holding in the door pin that is attached by a blue with green wire (if i remember correctly) pluged into it. then test it to see if it works also make sure that the other door works too.
