Default adjustable coil overs dont stay after adjustment

hi, my adjustable coil overs dont stay where they are set after adjustment, they came with the car when i bought it and i do not have the tool is there something i am missing when i adjust these, ( my right coild keeps loosening until it is just sitting on the bottom of the shock instead of it being on the spring ! any help would be appreciated,

also would like some info on a shock i can use for beter feel these are a stock shock with aftermarket coil over

thanks

u have to turn the two adjustable parts into eachother so that the threads force teh two peices together.. then they won't go anywhere..

there are two little bar looking things that are the tools u'r supposed to use.

*hard to explaine without a picture to point at / draw all over

get rid of the coilovers you have now. first, you don't know how old they are and after repeated loosening, that one coilover is probably fucked. with coilovers, you don't need to tighten them, the weight of the car keeps them tight. just get a new set of springs so you don't have to deal with the hassle of coilovers and a nice set of koni or tokico struts.
