Oh yeah, lightweight flywheel, too. I held my friends stock flywheel from his Tiburon and jesus, that thing was heavy, like 40 lbs. Get one of those 8 pounders.Yeah.

Hit the nail on the head. If you really want to get technical though theres some other ideas. CF hood, trunk, fenders, mirrors, whole dash assembly, carpets, spare, any tools, and p/s and a/c would definitely be a big plus. Your choice though. Of course all of the stuff listed above too!

the weight that you really want to get rid of is unsprung weight. So you should really try and find some light wheels and tires. They say taking one pound of unsprung weight off is like taking eight pounds of regular weight off.You could go as far as getting light weight lug nuts to go with the lighter wheels and tires, every little bit helps. Then there are the things everybody else has been talking about:
CF hood
CF trunk
CF fenders(even though i can't imagine normal fenders weight that much)
back seat
Spare and tools
carpet
You could strip the sound deadening and tar( this might be going a bit far)

unless this is a track car, and you plan on racing this all the time and getting the fastest possible time is a matter of puting food on the table, i dont suggest doing anything radical to lose weight. Dropping pounds off your car isnt going to be the miracle to make your car fast. Keep your seats, keep your spare, that way your not screwed if a tire goes flat. You dont have a fast car, you have a car thats probably in pretty good condition, dont ruin that and start ripping it apart.

sound deadening and tar will help the most.

Lightweight mini battery will help a ton.

They are light vehicles from the factory so not a lot of weight can be saved.

airbag systems, although illegal to remove, weigh a ton
