I got a B16A in my 95 civic coupe and im running rich like you wouldnt belive. I get about 10 mpg and im guessing its my O2 sensor for a couple reasons. One, i had to stretch it because i used my DX harness and i did so with solder...and i forget what gauge wire but i looked pretty close. The fact that i had cut and solder the fucker to stretch it makes me think i probably messed it up. Also, even though my VTEC nor Knock sensor isn't wired up yet, i figure those shouldnt matter AS MUCH because my friend B16 ran fine without those 2 hooked up for about 3 months until he did so. I don't have any fuel managment mods or anything, this is a bone stock B16. My ECU is that of the car it came from along with the engine and my spark plugs, wires, and injectors are in perfect working condition. My MAP and TPS are also in perfect working condition. So...it IS my O2 sensor right? If so were can i get one that is made stretched...or how can i stretch one off another honda the RIGHT way? Is there the right way? God knows if i could fine a Del Sol VTEC harness i would but i can't right now so i need help on this.

 

fix your known problems before trying to find other problems.

Your knock sensor and vtec wiring could help out. are you not getting the o2 code?
