Default Engine Swap Arizona

I have a 94 civic hatch. I think I just blew a head gasket. Well to make a long story short, I need a new engine. I guess b16, 18. I'm trying to stay around 1200+1500. I need the complete engine including tranny etc... complete swap. also, depending on my funds I also would be willing to pay for someone to swap it out for me if a friend of mine can't. Please reply with

Engine approx miles
price
location
etc.....

Thanks,

CubaMex

I doubt if you can find that price online. they usually run around 2500, but the cheapest i found was 2300 free shipping.

Get a B18B from a junkyard. It will be much cheaper, plus you won't have to pay for shipping.

yea but then you have to haul that engine from the junkyard to the shop. That engine freaken weighs alot. Plus its not like you can find a b18b laying around. I know certain junkyards won't take the motor out themselves you will have to. So it kinda sucks that way. Plus you have no idea what the mileage is on that thing. You don't even know if it runs well or not. Plus there might be that one certain part that is missing.

i'd talk to the guys at hmotorsonline.com and see if they might have a b20 swap avalible

if you goto the junkyard look for integras, civics, crxs and crvs... all my01 or older.

if you can get a b20 in there it will be wuite gratifying, the torque on that engine is just so nice.

i don't think you'll find one for that cheap. mine (JDM B16a gen2) was 2600 w/ LSD and shipping, and 450 to put it in. total 3100. so my opinion is to just rebuild yours it will be closer to your price range.

sell it as a rolling chasis and use the extra money to buy yourself a LS or something
