Default new front brake pads

What brake pads would be a good replacement for my stock ones? I have a stock 01 civic. Are the lifetime pads from autozone any good?

TIA
MIke

I have Hawk Ceramic Performance brake pads and they work great! I use them because i have powerslotted rotors all the way around.

Yeah they can. It is prefered mostly with powerslotted or crossdrilled rotors because stock pads aren't good for them. The ceramic pads are notorious for limiting brake dust, they also are better for limiting brake noise when stopping, and provide better stopping power than stock pads. You can use them on your rotors if you are concerned about what i mentioned above. Go to www.tirerack.com and look up brakepads, they have hawk ones there that you can read up on. Tire rack is in South Bend, Indiana and only a day away for me for shipping that's why i got them there.

If you just need brake pads go with the autozone. No reason getting aftermarket if you have no need for them.
