I was wondering if anyone knows of a place where i can have the stock 14inch rims of my civic si widened an inch and a half or two. I have heard of people doing this to maintain the stock look while gaining performance, but i can not fine anywhere that does this.

 

Just get some SI wheels w/ upgraded Falken Azenis and you're good to go.

 

will that help alot? now it just spins if i give it more than half throttle in 1st or second gear.

 

What car/motor do you have? I take it that you just have the 14" stock steelies correct? You just want a heavier rim so you dont spin the tires so much? Please specify what you are trying to do, so I and others can help.

Im trying to get around to what his question is, so i can answer is properly.

 

I think he wants to keep his stock wheel look. but get some the same size, but are just wider. It'd probably help if we knew what car and year he had....

 

I know some wheel shops like Wheel Collision Center does stuff like that. They are in Bath, PA. Look in the back of Car & Driver magazine and Motor Trend couple of wheel companies that should be able to do that.

I have an autocross friend who had his wheels cut and added 1" to the width.
