Default having problem with d15b swap? help?

i'm having problem with the throttle sensor.. I just bought a d15b v-tech motor and it doesn't have throttle sensor .. so I used my non v-tech d1b8 throttle sensor and it fit and I was wondering would it work? oh yeah my car is a 94 civic hatch cx model

Any numbers on it to compare? You could try hondaautomotiveparts.com, but they may only show the whole throttle body.

if your refering to the manifold absolute pressure or (map) sensor located on the top of the throttle body than yes it will work. if your refering to the throttle position sensor or (tps) it will also work. just make shure that the tps is installed proprely.

oh the map sensor I have.. I think its the tps, but I was wondering would it have any negative effect, cuz I am putting a tps out of my non-vtec motor onto the v-tec?

Nope. Works fine. Just make sure the wiring is up to par. If your CX TPS didn't have the sensor, but the donor TPS does, then you'll need to complete that circuit.
