Search on here or ht to see how reputable they are. Chipped ecus are good if you want to keep it simple.

You have to take into account the cost tuning of one of those chips for your setup.

If you don't have the mods, you don't need it.

The prices seem a bit high but that may be because we have a local guy who does it for 50 bucks. A dyno tune is a 100 bucks from him and he does great work. Either way, a well done chip is a good deal, it's just the dyno time and a good tuner that "could" get even more expensive after you have had your ECU socketed and chipped.

this is not only for the chip. it is for an entire ecu that is already chipped. but i'm not sure if it's a scam.

If it has a generic program on it, then it won't benefit you. Unless your car is strapped to a dyno and the chip is programmed with the proper A/F ratios and ignition timing, it is worthless.

I am still unsure as to why you need it. Are you running a setup where you need the extra fuel? This isn't Gran Turismo where you buy an ECU and get 15 hp from it.

what is your reasoning for needing to adjust your ecu's values.

have you modified your car to the point that it doesn't run right on the stock values?
