Default Wheels

I just bought a 1999 Honda Civic SI. It is a bright red, and I'm looking to get wheels for it next spring. What are some opinions on what wheels look good on red civics???

chrome....lots of chrome :reechy: im just kidding. darker rims would look better with the red. if i was in you postion, id pick up a set of higher performance tires and mount them on the stock Si wheels, but thats just me. id buy a set of falken ziex 512's sized 195-55-15 and use those for the summer, and when winter rolls around id just use the tires that were on them to start off with.

Yeah, I was thinking maybe gloss black with polished lip, or a bronze rim. Right now I have all-season performance toyo proxes FZ4's on it. I'm afraid how they will handle in the snow . My car is not lowered, and I won't lower it until i get something to drive in winter which probably won't be for couple years. I'm afraid if I go 17 inch rims on it that it will sit up too high and look goofy since it wouldn't be lowered. Should I go 16 inch rims? What would you suggest? Thanks.

I wasn't satisfied with the Falken Ziex's, especially after coming off of the Falken Azenis.

I had Toyo FZ4s on my 1993 Civic during the blizzard of 1999. They worked surprisingly well. They are all seasons - so the siping is what makes it work.

I said this before but i would like to know if my car would look goofy if i decided to put 17 inch rims on it, even though it is not lowered? Or is it better to just use 16 inch rims? Also do you think i should go gloss black rims or bronze?
