skunk 2 and b&m make some great shifters, go with a duel bend.but don't buy one of those cheap shifters off ebay cause they break really easy trust me on that.

what type of car do you want to put the shifter in to ??? if you just have a stock cluth/flywheel, your s.s won't do shit. And to be honest, I have broken 2 tranny's with B&M short shifters and so now i just keep my stock.

honda del sol, best thing to do is just keep your stock. the stock shifter is soooo short anyways, you might as well keep it. just change the knob and boot and you are good to go.

even with a stock clutch and flywheel you will still have a shorter shift patteren by alot so i say go for it, if you go to a local tuner shop they might have some non-namebrand short shifters and their just as good. just make sure that they are pretty heavy and you should be good to go.

you shouldnt be breaking trannies with a short shifter unless youre over throwing the shifter (applying undue pressure after its already in the gear). also trying to shift too fast will result in grinding and whatnot. If you buy a shifter and train yourself to use it youll be fine and it will last longer than you will. however if you just put it in there and think it will magically make you faster at shifting you can cause damage.

I have a c's myself.
