oil
i noticed every since i changed my oil my car smokes some...and im not sure what kind of oil i put in..and im not sure what was in it before...does anyone know if a thicker oil will make it not smoke? if so what is a good oil? its a 92cx if that helps...im not sure what type of oil i should use either...thanks

It probably smoked all along to some degree. Use your brakes more to slow down and not your engine. That'll help. I used to be able to see smoke all the time but I've been using the engine way less to slow. How many miles are on that CX?
here's a theory...If your car only smokes for a little while when you first change the oil, then maybe you are overfilling. Then as you drive you burn off the little bit of excess you put in there and all is well until the next time you change it.
