Default Some general questions...

I have a 00 civic ex boosted on a greddy kit stock right now,im going to get it tuned soon, just waiting on the support tool, but anyway.i was wondering if a stock FPR and afterfuel pump would be alright if i am only planning on running 10-12 lbs of boost in the future???also any body know how to get the yellowness out of your headlight lenses???i got an idea but i dont wanna F-them up!!! i have had them for about 2 years and they are getting slightly yellow.

*P.S. with 120k miles does anybody know some small mods to make the car run smoother(not feel it on the frame???) i was thinking like replace the engine mounts, vavle adjustment, and check the pulleys out??any ideas???

this summer im gonna be replacing alot of the engine components like pistins, rings etc. to mike it virtually a new engine,i just want it to run nice and last awhile..(also my compression is awesome, my tuner said it is the closer to factory he has seen)

thanks for the help!

I would not recommend running a stock FPR and fuel pump on 10-12psi.
Also, w/ 120k miles on the clock, I would suggest replacing a few things:

1) Timing belt and tensioner
2) Cap, Rotor, Coil, Wires
3) Oil/Water Pump

Those things are KEY to making an engine last. Some HASPORT mounts would be nice (personal experience) and a valve adjustment would also be very helpful in this stage of the game. good luck...let us know if you have any other questions.

Your on the right track then, just replace those other parts, and dont wait too long.

EDIT: 120k miles, and you havent at least changed the timing belt yet? I just noticed this. You better get going on that, but since you have to take the others off anyway, go ahead and change 'em out.

I hope you plan on converting to a manual transmission. Your automatic will crap out very quickly at those boost levels.
