my friend has cheap crap $50 ebay coilovers on his impreza and i must say.. his rides a lot nicer then some of the other cars with more expensive coilovers in them.. im not saying there just as good, but i think SOME of them are close.. his were also all aluminum and my other buddy just bought some and the caps are plastic.. so i guess if it has no plastic in it then you should be fine.. just my $0.02..

I've got a set of Neuspeed Sports waiting for me to put on mine. They came pretty highly recommended from a friend of mine. I'm kinda picky about the ride, so he suggested going with the Tokico Illumina adjustables too, which'll give me a little more flexibility there.

I'm hoping to have mine on by Thanksgiving, so I can't give you a personal review, but I trust the guy that recommended them to me, and I would pass that on to you as well. Do a little searching around on Ebay though -- I think you can beat that price. Make sure to account for shipping when shopping around.

Here's another clue to stay away from *cheap* Ebay crap: "This kit is make out of light weight with strong steel." I'm no English major, but WTF? This is quoted directly from the listing from before

Sorry man, thats wonderful that your friend's car is riding nice, but why would he take the risk in the first place and buy that shit? Im sure when he bought them, he had no idea how they were gonna perform. All he was thinking about was cheaping out and buying some "performance part." Its people like this, that shouldnt be driving around modified cars. Think about it before you buy. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

There's a H-T groupby going on for Skunk2 springs. $124 shipped.

I ordered my set on Friday of last week and received them today along with a set of KYB AGXs.
