when i did mine on my 93 hatch all i did was remove the back seats, loosen about 5 phillip screws and the pump was right there, you also need to disconnect some hoses, took me about 30min to take the old one out and install the new one

It's easy on a sol. remove the rear compartments, pull off the cover plate, pull off a few lines, pull the pump, take it off the bracket, slap on new pump.
In lines are a pain. make a new mounting bracket, wire a relay, cut into stock fuel lines, etc. Plus in lines are LOUD. Been there, done that, never going back to it!
