Default ? about lowerin kit

Ohk well i bought a 97 civic lx and its got a lowering kit on it but it looks like one sides just a lil but lower then the other i measered the passanger side and its higher then the driver side how would i got about raising it up a lil bit ?and is it easy ??

That is normal sometimes, depending on the brand of springs you have. What kind do you have and how low is it?...this has happened numerous times that ive been aware of.

Well thats the thing i dont knwo what kinda of shocks they are but i have a pic http://img239.imageshack.us/img239/4084/shocks4gj.jpg and the measerments are 4 the front drive side is 22 in a half, back driver side is 23 in a half, back passanger side is 23 in half and the front passanger side is 23....thats inches im sure u know..

That seems a little strange. How long ago were these put on, any idea? Its not unusual that its an inch difference from the front driver's side, to the back driver's side, its the fact that both fronts arent the same height.

I have no clue hwo long they been on .So would it be hard to raise the front up the half of inch to make it right would that make the alinment any better cos its pulls a lil bit...

those are coilovers, and are adjustable.

Yea, you've got coilovers. Did you get an adjustment tool when you got the car? You dont necisarily need one, but its really nice to have. You can probably buy a set on ebay or from skunk2 or omnipower, some company that makes coilovers.

Nope i didnt get the tool cos i dont know that much about em but i think i could buy one that would proobley be the best thing to do but how would i get the brand of shocks,is it on them or does it even matter ?

Shit, i didnt even think about coilovers. duh! Whoever had the car first, probably didnt adjust them to the right height. My bad dude, i should of thought of that

the shock doesn't matter, just lift the car and adjust the coilovers untill there even.
