Default Rallying A CIVIC!

Hey,

recently purchased a 98 Civic CX Hatchback in canada, i have access to a JDM B16A2 with tranny and ECU, only problem is its only got half a wiring harness, i was wondering if anyone knows whether i'd be better off looking for a USDM B16A2 out of a Civic SI, or is it pretty much the same as the JDM version, also are driveshafts and motor mounts on the CX capable of fitting with the B16A2???? I'm building this car up to rally in the Canadian Rally Championship P3 catagory, any info would be appreciated! thanks.

Both engines are the same basically. Good luck though. I've seen a couple Civics/Honda doing rally. Not the best setup since the car is meant for economy and not abuse

you can just use your 98 CX harness and splice in the wires for vtec/vtec solonoid..etc. no the mounts wont work you need 99-00 civic Si mounts and any B series axles with corrosponding intermediate shaft. you will also need B serries shift linkage.
